ArcelorMittal Prijedor d.o.o. Prijedor is an iron ore mine located in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina whose entire production is supplied to ArcelorMittal Zenica. Excavation is currently being carried out at the Buvač surface pit in Omarska, near Prijedor. From the spring of 2022, preparatory activities were started at the Ljubija site, at the Škorac and Ciganuša mines, to start the production of iron ore at this site as well.

The main activity is the production of iron ore concentrate, while the auxiliary activities are the production of stone aggregates, mechanical and electrical maintenance, and transport services. Annual production is at the level of 1.5 to 2.1 million tons of iron ore concentrate, and we currently employ about 800 workers. ArcelorMittal Prijedor is a “joint venture” (joint investment) of two founders, ArcelorMittal Holdings and RZR Ljubija a.d. Prijedor, whereby ArcelorMittal Holdings is the majority owner with a share of 51%.
