ŠA Fest is a memorial art festival dedicated to the artist, composer, academic painter, and front man of the band “Tattoo” Dalibor Popović Mikša. It takes place in the last week of July in Prijedor.
The festival lasts four days. It starts with ŠA Street, which lasts two days in the pedestrian zone in the main street and continues with a music festival in the Old Town and the Summer Garden in Prijedor.
In addition to quality entertainment, musical content and a good atmosphere that it offers to its audience, this in many ways unique Prijedor art festival, through the ŠA Fest Association and the Dalibor Popović Mikša Fund, actively works to improve and promote the art and music scene, providing scholarships to talented students of art and music, and provides support to artists through co-financing and organizing exhibitions, buying instruments, recording video and audio materials, organizing concerts, etc.
ArcelorMittal Prijedor, as a socially responsible company, through the CI program focuses on support in many areas crucial for the local communities of the City of Prijedor, among which are culture and art, which is promoted by the ŠA Fest. From the first day of this festival, there is a special mutual bond that we develop more and more every year to the satisfaction of the young people of our city, but also the performers themselves and us as a company.
