Regarding the statement of the Union of ArcelorMittal Prijedor dated 11.04.2025., we would like to emphasize the following:
The Employer regrets the current work stoppage and fully understands the concerns of the workers when it comes to issues of wages and overall material security.
During the negotiation process, the Employer has repeatedly expressed its readiness for dialogue and openness to finding a sustainable solution that would satisfy both parties – the workers and the company.
We emphasize that the negotiations are being conducted in a challenging business environment, where long-term stability and sustainability of the business must be considered.
Despite this, the Company remains committed to reaching a compromise, and wishes to continue discussions with the Union without further delay, in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding.
We believe that the common goal of both the Union and the Employer is to preserve jobs, employee safety and further development of the company.
Arcelor Mittal Prijedor Company remains open to discussion and calls for a quick and responsible resolution of the situation
