In accordance with the statement of the Unions of ArcelorMittal Prijedor and ArcelorMittal Zenica, regarding the current situation on subject of the personal income of employees, we would like to emphasize the following.
We understand the concerns of the Union regarding the current level of salaries and as an employer we recognize the importance of these issues.
Our desire is to do everything in our power to achieve solutions that meet the needs of employees and ensure their long-term security.
It is important to note that we are in constant negotiations with the Union in order to find the optimal solution, which will be in line with the company’s capabilities and market conditions.
Our commitment to employees and their families is unquestionable, and we will continue the dialogue in order to reach a fair and just agreement.
The current situation is not ideal, and together we will strive to find sustainable solutions that will enable the growth and development of both employees and the company itself.
In the meantime, we call on all parties to be patient and work together to reach an agreement as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We hope that, through continued negotiations, we will soon reach a solution that will satisfy all parties, while maintaining continuity of production and supply of ore to our Zenica plant.
