Our wish was to once again point to a constant joint effort, to achieve our most important goal by complying with the rules and standards of the H&S in our company, that we all go home safely after the working day. Approximately 60 children, accompanied by their parents, visited the mine.
We started our visit at the Buvač mine, where one of the dads, Davorin Rino Šikman, explained to the little visitors what activities are carried out at the mine. The greatest excitement was caused by the arrival of the dumpers in that area, and delighted children had the opportunity to look around, enter the cabin and, of course, take photos, all under the supervision of dads who operate these powerful machines.
The tour continued at the ore processing plant, where the little ones had the opportunity to visit the stocks of the final product, and the activities at the plant were explained to them by one mom, Branka Šolaja, and one dad, Dragan Kokanović. We ended our tour in the workers’ restaurant, where the little miners were treated to homemade cakes by the restaurant’s friendly ladies. The excitement and joy on this day was enormous, and already on the next day, questions began to arise, when we will go again?
